Victoria and Ted booked us last year for their August 12th, 2017 wedding. Victoria contacted us last year to be their wedding photographer. She was referred by a friend. We set up their engagement session for the fall, we traveled down to Erinville to their cottage on the lake.
They are a very laid back, country couple from the city. They love to be on the lake fishing and go wheeling! Ted proposed to Victoria while out fishing in their favorite spot.
August 12th came and it couldn’t have rained any harder. James dropped me off with the ladies while he went down to photograph the men getting ready. It was raining, then came a crack of thunder and lightning. The men worked hard putting the tent up for the ceremony.
Rain didn’t ruin their day, everything went perfectly. The rain stopped long enough for us to go and get photos taken on their dock, wheeler then down the road to a perfect spot with a big beautiful red barn.
The old saying is “if it rains on your wedding day, it’s good luck”. It really was a perfect day for such a lovely couple.
